About the Role
Savills Middle East is seeking an HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR operational support for its KSA business from the Riyadh office. This full-time role involves day-to-day HR delivery, support to the HR team, and ad-hoc project work. The HR Generalist will provide operational and transactional HR services support to the Head of KSA and manage employee relations casework independently, with support from the Head of HR in KSA and the regional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with staff, managers, and stakeholders on operational HR matters, supporting local HR strategy and initiatives in ER, L&D, Performance Management, and Employee Engagement.
- Promote the Savills brand and support initiatives to enhance the Employer Proposition and Global Branding.
- Lead local talent acquisition activities in conjunction with the regional Talent Acquisition team, ensuring alignment with recruitment practices and company processes.
- Manage the CV screening, interview, and selection process for new hires, implementing talent screening processes such as technical competency and psychometric assessments.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for KSA, utilizing company software and recruitment portals for efficiency and regular vacancy updates.
- Develop the Graduates program for KSA, represent Savills at Saudi universities, and promote success stories to develop graduates as brand ambassadors.
- Train and coach hiring managers on the recruitment cycle and associated talent acquisition processes, implementing practices for a professional approach.
- Provide recruitment KPIs and tracking to the Head of HR and Regional HR team as requested.
- Implement tools and practices to improve existing HR processes and reporting, suggesting changes as needed.
- Review and enhance joiner and leaver processes, utilizing HR analytics for management reporting.
- Collaborate with Marketing, IT, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure alignment and support HR projects.
- Manage the development and delivery of the staff induction program, reviewing it periodically for improvements.
- Ensure proper implementation of performance management processes during probationary periods, following up with line managers and employees.
- Assist in the delivery and planning of training arrangements and support e-learning provisions.
- Work on ad-hoc HR projects and operational improvement tasks.
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment.
- Assist with reporting and analytics for plc, local country, or regional levels.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring confidentiality and fair outcomes.
- Escalate complex employee relations issues to the Head of HR and assist with cases.
- Advise managers on probationary reviews, extensions, and contract renewals.
- Assist with annual appraisal and promotion processes.
- Liaise with the Training Development Manager and Head of HR to identify employee training needs.
- Manage the full operational visa process for new joiners, renewals, and leavers, escalating issues to the Head of HR as needed.
- Work with managers to ensure smooth onboarding and assist in induction program delivery.
- Collaborate with the Head of HR on improving onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy on internal systems and improve team use of systems and efficiency tools.
- Follow up with the GRO regarding licenses, portals, regulations, medical insurance, iqama issuance/renewal, and other insurance matters.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Demonstrated ability to provide full HR operational support.
- Experience in managing employee relations casework.
- Proficiency in talent acquisition and talent management processes.
- Familiarity with HR analytics and reporting.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Savills Middle East team. The role requires collaboration with various internal departments and regional HR teams.
