About El Seif Engineering Contracting and the Role

El Seif Engineering Contracting, a company with over half a century of diverse experience across public infrastructure, military, and defense applications, is seeking a HSE Inspector to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical for maintaining high standards of safety and environmental compliance across our projects.

Role Overview

The HSE Inspector will contribute to the daily operational safety and environmental management of projects. This role involves ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, thereby supporting the overall HSE objectives and minimizing workplace hazards within approved budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with established safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the day-to-day responsibilities of project HSE in accordance with company policies and procedures, meeting the approved budget.
  • Support in meeting the accountabilities for all HSE activities within the project.
  • Assist in ensuring the HSE deliverables schedule is updated based on identified project risks and mitigation plans.
  • Support in maintaining the company’s safety certifications.
  • Support in ensuring HSE policy is put in place to minimize hazards.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with HSE legislation, regulations, rules, standards, and requirements.
  • Maintain records on all safety checks performed and ensure proper data entry onto the system and documents control.
  • Report to the Safety Engineers all cases of deficiency and/or nonconformities.
  • Issue Safety reports as required.
  • Keep records of quality inspections and inform Safety Engineers with any difficulties encountered during inspection.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HSE, preferably in an operation comparable in size to El Seif Engineering Contracting.
  • Proven knowledge of Construction HSE inspection.
  • Good knowledge of international HSE industry standards.
  • Experience in the Middle East is considered a strong advantage.
