About the Role
McKinsey & Company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist Immigration to join its Human Resources team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is designed for professionals with 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring suitable work authorization, access to benefits, and compliant travel across countries, operating within a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver mobility, immigration, and visa eligibility assessments for personnel entering Saudi Arabia.
- Support business travelers in obtaining correct visas for client visits and billing within the Kingdom.
- Assist personnel and their families with work and residency permits.
- Guide vendor networks by establishing best practices.
- Onboard expat and national hires, ensuring prompt integration and compliance with GOSI regulations.
- Collaborate with vendors, Public Relations Officers (PROs), and internal colleagues to manage overall scope effectively and sustain consistent quality.
- Coach junior colleagues on Mobility, Immigration, and Eligibility (MIE) to ensure operational continuity.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline, simplify, right-shape, and deploy AI tools as part of regional and global HR transformation initiatives.
- Ensure smooth relocation for people and their families to Saudi Arabia and compliance with country requirements for travelers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and Firm-related tools (Box, Slack).
- Broad skillset across relevant communication service lines and platforms (*, external/internal communications, media relations, events, executive communications).
- Ability to work independently and entrepreneurially, managing and prioritizing deadlines effectively.
- Ability to influence and direct colleagues, and manage the needs of different stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Ability to distill complex ideas into compelling narratives across different formats.
- Effective communication skills across formats (*, written, verbal/presentation, digital-ready content).
