Role Summary

DataVolt is seeking an HVAC SME to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems for data centers. The specialist will ensure that these systems meet operational and energy efficiency standards, overseeing the configuration and continuous operation of cooling infrastructure to maintain optimal temperatures and humidity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems for new and existing data centers.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure HVAC systems meet operational and energy efficiency standards.
• Oversee the configuration of cooling systems, including CRAC/CRAH units and chillers, to ensure data center temperature and humidity control.
• Ensure continuous operation and reliability of HVAC systems by implementing preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Oversee and maintain the performance of data center cooling systems, including air conditioning units, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and control systems.
• Conduct regular assessments of cooling infrastructure to ensure equipment integrity and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Work closely with facility management and engineering teams to develop and implement cooling strategies that optimize energy efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring maximum system availability.
• Respond to cooling-related alarms, troubleshoot system issues, and perform corrective actions to maintain optimal environmental conditions.
• Respond to and resolve critical incidents related to HVAC, ensuring proper documentation of root cause analysis (RCA).
