About the Opportunity

TawanTech is seeking an IBM API Connect & DataPower Developer to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role focuses on designing, developing, and managing robust API solutions within an enterprise environment.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining API solutions using IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower Gateway. This involves ensuring effective API management, robust security implementation, and seamless integration across various enterprise projects.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy APIs using IBM API Connect.
• Configure and manage IBM DataPower Gateway services.
• Implement API security policies, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Develop RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
• Participate in system testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise integration and security standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM API Connect.
• Strong experience with IBM DataPower Gateway.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, and XSLT.
• Knowledge of API security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and API Key authentication.
• Experience with API lifecycle management.
• Understanding of integration architecture and middleware concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Desirable Attributes

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Enterprise Integration projects.
• IBM certifications related to API Connect or DataPower.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, contributing to critical integration projects.
