About the Role
Amazon is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ICQA Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for planning and ensuring sufficient resourcing within fulfillment center operations. The supervisor will focus on team development, performance management, and fostering a culture of productivity and continuous improvement. The position requires a proactive approach to managing daily activities, upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan resourcing beyond immediate needs to ensure sufficient capacity for the function.
- Identify team training needs, manage performance, and address absence.
- Coach and continuously monitor the department to enhance productivity.
- Supervise daily activities, ensuring the overall safety, quality, performance, and member experience of Inbound or Outbound FC operations.
- Set and clarify departmental requirements and expectations, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and document accidents and incidents promptly.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Exhibit professional behavior and manage ambiguity and change effectively.
- Drive results and proactively address obstacles.
- Communicate and consistently enforce company policies.
- Source and develop ideas for improvement plans.
- Promote sharing of best practices across departments, shifts, and the organization.
- Collaborate with HR, Facilities, Safety, and IT to secure support and resources for initiatives.
- Track production metrics, utilize data for continuous improvement strategies, and report to management.
- Assist in establishing long-term operational strategic plans.
- Mentor and provide training for performance optimization and organizational growth.
- Recognize high performance, coach underperformers, and implement progressive discipline.
- Propose and implement improvements in equipment and processing methods.
- Conduct daily and weekly timecard reviews for pay accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including rotating shifts/departments and working extended hours or holidays.
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before and stay 30 minutes after the shift to complete pass-downs, reports, and timecard reviews.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
- Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Understanding of safety procedures and commitment to safe working practices.

Work Environment and Location
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a fulfillment center environment. Employees may be required to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may need to rotate between shifts and departments. Extended hours are also a possibility. The work environment may involve noise and require physical stamina for extended periods.
