Infrastructure Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Quantity Surveyor to join its projects team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a professional with solid experience in infrastructure projects, possessing strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost control, contract administration, and commercial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs from infrastructure drawings and project specifications.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Prepare cost estimates for infrastructure works at different project stages.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare interim payment applications and evaluate subcontractor invoices.
• Measure and verify completed infrastructure works.
• Evaluate Variation Orders (VOs) and their cost impact.
• Support claims preparation and contract administration.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
• Prepare cost reports and commercial updates.
• Coordinate with project managers, technical office, procurement, and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in infrastructure projects, coupled with expertise in quantity surveying principles and practices. This role requires an individual who can effectively manage costs, administer contracts, and contribute to the commercial success of projects.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, specifically within infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
• Demonstrated ability in evaluating subcontractor invoices and variation orders.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying methodologies.
• Proficiency in cost control and commercial management.
• Familiarity with contract administration and claims preparation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
