The Role of Inside Sales Specialist

As an Inside Sales Specialist based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will serve as the primary contact for clients, focusing on building and developing relationships. This full-time role involves representing the brand professionally and ensuring a consistent client experience from initial contact through to project completion. The position requires a proactive, client-focused individual with strong communication skills, capable of working effectively within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
• Prospect and market concepts and solutions based on NMK’s product portfolio to potential new accounts.
• Prepare, generate, and follow up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders or determine reasons for loss.
• Obtain orders via email and telephone calls, verify and enter items, transfer orders to the Operations team, and communicate stock-outs and expected delivery dates.
• Own, qualify, and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and regional heads.
• Research accounts, identify buying influences and key players to generate additional interest.
• Route qualified opportunities to appropriate Sales Managers for further development.
• Maintain and expand the database of prospects within the assigned territory.
• Increase orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and reviewing customer buying history.
• Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
• Develop and maintain a project pipeline.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, and participation in professional societies.
• Demonstrate products to customers in conjunction with the technical team and Brand Managers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and understand customer needs and requirements.
• Develop close relationships with outside sales, technical, and marketing departments.
• Effectively meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specified by the line manager.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in inside sales or a similar client-facing role. Strong communication skills are essential for client engagement and relationship development.
