Inspections Supervisor

About the Role

flyadeal is seeking an Inspections Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing inspection programs and aircraft records, ensuring the integrity and airworthiness of all flyadeal aircraft through continuous inspection oversight, record verification, and coordination with maintenance providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Exercise operational control and responsibility for the RII program, inspections, aircraft records, receiving inspections, and inspection programs.
• Control and develop inspection standards, methods, and procedures in compliance with GACA regulations.
• Ensure all inspections are properly performed and documented prior to releasing any flyadeal aircraft to service, verifying that inspection records and forms used by maintenance providers are correctly executed.
• Supervise all processes related to the acceptance and handling of incoming materials and parts, ensuring compliance with approved vendor and inspection standards.
• Approve and manage serviceability determinations for aircraft, engines, and components at all inspection levels, including return to service (AWR).
• Ensure all inspection tools and measuring equipment are properly calibrated and traceable.
• Participate in investigations of incidents or accidents involving aircraft, engines, or components to determine causes and ensure preventive measures are implemented.
• Conduct continuous spot checks of maintenance performed by flyadeal and AMO providers to ensure conformity with flyadeal standards and GACA requirements.
• Perform final product quality inspections during letter checks, final task stages, and before release to service.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• GACA Part 66 License (A&P or B1/B2) or equivalent EASA License.
• Minimum of 6 years in aircraft maintenance, including at least 3 years in inspection or quality.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Deep knowledge of GACAR 43, 65, 145, and 121 requirements.
• Strong understanding of aircraft inspection techniques, maintenance documentation, and airworthiness release procedures.
• Proficiency in inspection tools calibration, recordkeeping systems, and quality control methods.
