About the Role

Afaq Q Tech General Trading is seeking an Instock Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on building new business from the ground up within a fast-paced environment, specifically for the MENA A-Now team. The Instock Manager will be responsible for developing and executing buying and sourcing strategies for new categories, ensuring operational excellence, and continuously analyzing key metrics to drive business improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily inventory health metrics and ensure accuracy.
  • Develop strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess or aged inventory.
  • Implement and maintain robust inventory control processes.
  • Monitor shrinkage and damage rates to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze historical data to forecast future inventory needs and recommend order quantities.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with operations, transportation, and procurement teams to drive alignment.
  • Escalate and resolve inventory-related issues across various networks.
  • Lead projects aimed at improving instock performance.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for inventory management.
  • Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train and coach team members on inventory management best practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment and build trust with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in understanding complex business, technology, and operations processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting and manage ambiguity or competing priorities.
