About the Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Interior Design Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading and supervising interior design projects, collaborating with various design disciplines, and ensuring project execution aligns with design intent. The position requires extensive experience in architectural design management, particularly within large-scale projects in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise interior design (ID) works, managing a dedicated team across all project phases.
• Collaborate with architects and other design disciplines, including lighting and MEP final fix, to resolve design and construction-related issues.
• Provide expert input on the selection of materials and finishes, balancing client preferences with architectural and project requirements.
• Contribute to and approve construction ID details, ensuring alignment with the overall design vision.
• Manage and review construction documentation, including shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements, to ensure design intent and modifications are reflected and to highlight discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings for project records.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related subject.
• Preferably 15+ years of experience in Architecture, Interior Design, and Design, with a background in Architectural design management.
• Experience with high-rise tower projects, ideally 300+ meters.
• Demonstrated experience as part of a design team leading the delivery of large-scale projects in the Middle East.
• Possession of a transferable Iqama is required.
