About the Role

Dulb Trading & Contracting Company is seeking an IT Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for maintaining employee productivity by ensuring functional computing environments, resolving daily IT issues, and managing the company's SharePoint environment. The IT Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of IT department databases, including asset inventory, user accounts, and licenses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Windows operating systems on company laptops and desktops.
  • Troubleshoot OS issues such as boot failures, driver conflicts, performance problems, and profile corruption.
  • Apply security baselines, Windows Updates, and antivirus/EDR policies across all endpoints.
  • Maintain standard OS images and deployment tools.
  • Prepare laptops, desktops, and peripherals for new employees, including software installation (Microsoft 365, PDF tools, ERP client, engineering/design tools).
  • Join devices to the domain, enroll them in device management, and create user accounts, email mailboxes, Teams access, and file share permissions.
  • Hand over equipment with a signed asset handover form and provide an orientation on IT usage and policies.
  • Recover, wipe, and re-stock equipment from departing employees.
  • Provide first and second-line IT support to all employees in person, by phone, and remotely.
  • Log, prioritize, and resolve tickets within agreed response times; escalate to vendors when necessary.
  • Support printers, scanners, Wi-Fi, email, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Reset passwords, unlock accounts, and manage MFA enrollment.
  • Maintain SharePoint sites, document libraries, and lists for departments and teams.
  • Manage site permissions, groups, and external sharing in line with company policy.
  • Migrate files from local drives and file servers to SharePoint / OneDrive.
  • Train employees on SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, and provide ongoing support.
  • Maintain and update the IT asset inventory, including hardware, serial numbers, assigned users, warranty, and location.
  • Keep the software license register accurate, including renewals and expiry dates.
  • Ensure ticketing system data is clean and produce monthly IT support reports.
  • Ensure IT databases are backed up, access-controlled, and audited periodically.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of experience in an IT support or engineering role.

Work Environment

This is an office-based position, with occasional visits to project sites or branch offices. The role may require occasional after-hours or weekend work for upgrades, migrations, or urgent issues. The ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 15 kg is also required.
