Junior Civil Structural Design Review Engineer Saudi nationals

About the Role

SGS is seeking a Junior Civil Structural Design Review Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to Saudi nationals and requires 0-1 years of experience. The successful candidate will contribute to the design review process under the guidance of senior engineers, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing structural calculations, drawings, and design models under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Support the Design Review Team in preparing technical reports and deliverables.
• Assist in checking the compliance of structural designs with project requirements, applicable codes, and standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and project discussions.
• Support site visits, technical assessments, and inspections when required.
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings and material submittals for structural works.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders and site teams to collect technical information.
• Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quantity take-offs.
• Support the resolution of technical issues identified during design review and project execution.
• Perform other duties assigned by the line manager related to projects and departmental requirements.
• Maintain project documentation and engineering records.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and stay updated with structural engineering practices and software tools.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in civil structural design or review.
• Saudi national.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a team environment, collaborating with senior engineers, project stakeholders, and site teams.
