Learning and Development Manager

About the Role

Plaza Premium Group is seeking a Learning and Development Manager for its operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves setting and monitoring corporate learning and development strategies, ensuring alignment with business and EMEA L&D objectives, and supporting people growth within KSA operations. The manager will drive, plan, lead, and ensure the quality and timeliness of performance support, synchronizing efforts with overall Corporate Learning & Development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the EMEA Learning and Development Manager to identify and review training needs across airport lounges and all outlets to maintain high-quality customer service.
• Improve participation and effectiveness of training programs while developing engagement activities.
• Plan and manage initiatives within the learning calendar to ensure timely implementation for Managers, Operational colleagues, Management Trainees, and Interns.
• Provide close coaching to the KSA L&D team and Operational Trainers to optimize their skillsets.
• Execute training needs assessments and provide recommendations and training solutions that align with company values, business objectives, and employee development needs.
• Plan, develop, conduct, and supervise training and development programs based on business requirements.
• Update training manuals in response to operational needs.
• Plan, review, prepare, and monitor the Training Plan and monthly training calendars.
• Train and manage the team of internal trainers to ensure effective delivery of all internal training programs.
• Work with external training providers on in-house or public training programs.
• Identify solutions to improve operational workflow procedures.
• Manage learning program administration and maintain training records.
• Assist in setting up new operations and participate in business development initiatives.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in learning and development. The position requires maintaining close relationships with various departments to provide effective account services and coaching team members to achieve optimal performance levels. Monitoring the effectiveness and applicability of policies and procedures for continuous improvement is also a key aspect of this role.
