About the Role

Misk Schools is seeking a Training and Development Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the learning and development strategy across the organization. The manager will ensure that employees at all levels are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies for effective performance and growth within Misk Schools.

Role Purpose and Context

The Training and Development Manager leads the full training cycle, from identifying development needs to designing, delivering, and evaluating high-impact learning programs. Working closely with Human Resources leadership and department heads, this role aims to build a culture of continuous learning that supports Misk Schools' strategic objectives, strengthens employee engagement and retention, and prepares talent for future leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the annual Training and Development strategy and plan in alignment with Misk Schools' Human Capital strategy and objectives.
  • Conduct regular Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across departments to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs and workshops covering technical, behavioral, and leadership competencies.
  • Manage and continuously improve the new employee onboarding and induction program.
  • Develop and oversee leadership and management development programs to build a strong internal talent pipeline.
  • Select, manage, and evaluate external training providers, consultants, and vendors, ensuring quality and value.
  • Manage the Training and Development budget, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is up to date and utilization is tracked and reported.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of training programs using recognized evaluation models (*, Kirkpatrick), and report on training ROI.
  • Collaborate with department heads and line managers to align training initiatives with performance management and career development plans.
  • Support succession planning efforts by identifying high-potential employees and designing targeted development interventions.
  • Ensure all mandatory and compliance-related training (*, safeguarding, health and safety, code of conduct) is completed and properly documented.
  • Maintain accurate training records and certificates, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Keep abreast of best practices, emerging trends, and innovations in learning and development, and recommend improvements accordingly.
  • Prepare periodic reports and dashboards on training activities, participation, and outcomes for HR leadership and senior management.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the line manager.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in training and development roles.
