About the Role

NAVIX is seeking a highly experienced Logistics Accountant to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with a strong background in logistics-related financial management.

Role Context

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency within a dynamic logistics environment. Priority will be given to individuals with direct experience in logistics accounting, fulfillment operations, warehousing, or last-mile delivery reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Monitor daily cash flow and prepare short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Reconcile customer collections, Cash on Delivery (COD) amounts, bank accounts, POS settlements, and payment gateways.
  • Review and reconcile invoices from delivery partners, warehouse providers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare client statements and ensure accurate and timely billing and collection.
  • Track revenue, direct costs, and profitability by client, service, and shipment.
  • Manage operational advances, employee expenses, petty cash, and supplier payments.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and support monthly and quarterly financial closing procedures.
  • Prepare VAT reports and ensure compliance with ZATCA requirements.
  • Develop financial controls and reconciliation procedures specifically tailored for logistics and fulfillment operations.
  • Prepare management reports covering cash position, receivables, payables, revenue, costs, and profitability.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within logistics, 3PL, fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, or last-mile delivery sectors.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of cash flow management, COD reconciliation, client settlements, and supplier accounts.
  • Good knowledge of Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various accounting systems.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
