M&A Associate

About the Opportunity

Hays is partnering with a prestigious independent advisory firm to recruit an M&A Associate for their office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is suitable for a candidate with 2-5 years of experience, preferably from a tier 1 bank, who can manage complex mandates with minimal supervision.

Role Overview

The M&A Associate will be responsible for leading the full M&A lifecycle, from initiation through to deal close. This position involves active participation across the spectrum of ECM and M&A deals within the MENA region, requiring the ability to mentor junior analysts and drive deal execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire M&A lifecycle through to deal completion.
• Lead financial modelling, deal structuring, and valuation for both buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Prepare and present pitch books, Information Memoranda (IM's), and board materials to high standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of M&A experience gained at a tier 1 bulge bracket bank or an elite boutique firm. This role is suitable for a strong Senior Analyst ready for advancement.
• Excellent academic record from a top university; an MBA or CFA qualification is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex deal execution at a high-quality level.
• Broad and varied M&A deal experience within the MENA region is highly preferred.
