The Major Incident Manager Role

We are seeking a Major Incident Manager – Senior Manager to lead the governance and coordinated management of major incidents. This pivotal role ensures effective incident response, rapid restoration of service continuity across multiple verticals and vendors, and robust post-incident management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying and addressing recurring issues to enhance overall system resilience and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the governance of the incident lifecycle for major incidents, including classification, prioritization, and coordinated response across various verticals and vendors.
• Orchestrate and manage all resolution activities from incident detection through to closure, ensuring service continuity is restored rapidly and efficiently.
• Lead post-incident problem management and conduct thorough root cause analysis for recurring major incidents to prevent future occurrences.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this role must possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience in incident management, with a proven track record in leading and coordinating major incidents within complex operational environments.

Work Environment
