About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking an experienced and talented Manager Design to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the design and development of innovative projects, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics. The Design Manager will oversee multidisciplinary design teams and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery from concept through completion.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate is a creative leader with strong technical expertise and exceptional project management capabilities. This position requires a passion for design excellence and the ability to guide projects from initial concept to final delivery. The Design Manager will be central to integrating design solutions across various project phases and ensuring compliance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of architects and designers, providing direction, mentorship, and technical guidance.
• Oversee the development of design concepts, plans, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver integrated design solutions.
• Manage the full design lifecycle from concept development through project completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Review and approve design proposals, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project goals and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to support efficient project execution.
• Stay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and industry innovations, incorporating best practices where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, design codes, and company standards.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, continuous improvement, and professional development within the design team.

Experience and Qualifications

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in design management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in overseeing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong technical expertise in design and project management.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept through completion.
