Manager Operational Readiness

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Manager - Operational Readiness to lead operational readiness planning and delivery for assigned assets and programs. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and involves translating strategic objectives into integrated plans, governance, assurance, and mobilization activities. The role focuses on coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure all necessary elements are prepared for activation.

Role Purpose and Context

The Manager - Operational Readiness is responsible for resolving dependencies and ensuring that people, processes, systems, facilities, permits, and services are ready for activation. This involves a comprehensive approach to planning and execution, ensuring seamless transitions from project delivery to operational status.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of integrated operational readiness strategies, plans, schedules, and governance frameworks.
• Manage readiness reporting for assigned scopes, including milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and evidence of completion.
• Coordinate operational requirements with project delivery and ensure readiness needs are reflected in design, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Drive the development and assurance of operating models, SOPs, workforce, training, OS&E, technology, facilities, and service mobilization plans.
• Lead cross-functional readiness reviews, workshops, inspections, rehearsals, trials, and activation decision gates.
• Oversee permit, license, and regulatory readiness planning in coordination with accountable functions and external authorities.
• Establish acceptance criteria and ensure readiness evidence is complete, accurate, and suitable for management assurance.
• Identify critical gaps and direct mitigation plans to protect safety, compliance, customer experience, and opening dates.
• Prepare executive reports and recommendations, escalating material blockers requiring leadership decisions.
• Manage consultants and service providers within assigned scope, including deliverable quality, schedule, and performance.
• Provide direction, coaching, and quality review to readiness team members and workstream owners.
• Lead lessons learned and continuous improvement of operational readiness processes, tools, and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience is required for this role.
• Demonstrated experience in leading operational readiness planning and delivery for complex programs or assets.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders and manage dependencies effectively.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on the development and activation of significant projects for Qiddiya Investment Company.
