About the Role

SITA is seeking a Manager Software Development to lead a team responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting software products and applications. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role ensures compliance with SITA's policies and procedures, utilizing appropriate processes, methodologies, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and support of enterprise-scale software applications, integration services, and business-critical systems.
• Manage the design, enhancement, and delivery of software solutions using Java, CoolGen, and related technologies, ensuring high levels of quality, security, performance, and reliability.
• Oversee software releases, system enhancements, defect resolution, and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Drive the analysis and resolution of complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions to support operational excellence.
• Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including planning, resource allocation, estimation, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Promote the adoption of best practices, development standards, and process improvements to enhance delivery effectiveness and system maintainability.
• Work closely with architecture, infrastructure, operations, and project teams to support technology transformation initiatives and ensure software solutions meet evolving business and customer needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in software development.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team of FTEs, contractors, and offshore resources.
• Proficiency in Java, CoolGen, and related software development technologies.
• Experience with enterprise-scale software applications and integration services.
