Massage Therapist

About the Role

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Massage Therapist to join their team in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing a range of massage and body treatments to guests, ensuring comfort and adherence to established service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide massage services to guests using appropriate props and products.
• Administer body treatments, including scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
• Assess guest needs and identify contraindications (*, allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before treatments.
• Stay informed on current techniques and modalities relevant to massage and body treatments.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the service.
• Arrange and maintain the workstation, treatment room, and drapes.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail products.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools, and ensure the cleanliness of the workstation and treatment room.
• Dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
• Adhere to the daily time schedule and manage service durations effectively.
• Address inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International standard operating procedures, which may include stopping a treatment and informing a supervisor.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, protect proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate their service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues and guests.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Maintain current skills and licensure in the service area as per regional requirements.

This is a full-time position based in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a luxury hospitality setting. The role requires adherence to high standards of service and professionalism.
