The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a dedicated Spa Massage Therapist to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on providing high-quality massage and body treatments to guests, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the service.

Role Summary

The Spa Massage Therapist is responsible for delivering a range of massage and body treatments, assessing guest needs, and maintaining a professional and hygienic treatment environment. The role involves direct guest interaction, adherence to safety protocols, and continuous professional development in massage techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide massage services and body treatments using appropriate products and techniques.
• Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (*, allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before beginning any service.
• Stay updated with current techniques and modalities relevant to the field.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and arrange the workstation and treatment room.
• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and security throughout the service.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools, and ensure the cleanliness of the workstation and treatment room.
• Monitor and adhere to the daily time schedule.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International standard operating procedures, including stopping a treatment and informing management.
• Maintain current skills and licensure as per regional requirements.

Workplace Conduct and Safety

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Communicate professionally and develop positive working relationships with colleagues.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Possess fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for precise tasks.
