Massage Therapist

About the Role

W Hotels is seeking a Massage Therapist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing a range of massage and body treatments to guests, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the service. The role requires 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver massage services and body treatments using appropriate products and techniques.
• Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (*, allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) prior to service.
• Stay informed about current techniques and modalities relevant to the field.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes.
• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and security throughout services.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools, and ensure the cleanliness of the workstation and treatment room.
• Monitor and adhere to the daily time schedule.
• Address inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International standard operating procedures.
• Maintain current skills and licensure as per regional requirements.

Operational Duties and Compliance

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs.

Physical Requirements and Professional Conduct

• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
