About the Role

W Hotels is seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing high-quality massage services and body treatments to guests, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The successful candidate will assess individual guest needs, identify any contraindications, and remain current with industry techniques and modalities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Arrange and maintain the workstation, treatment room, and drapes to company standards.
  • Regularly check with guests throughout the service to ensure comfort, safety, and security.
  • Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings related to the Spa.
  • Clean, maintain, and sterilize all tools and equipment used in treatments.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the workstation and treatment room throughout the entire shift.
  • Dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure all supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Monitor and adhere to the daily time schedule for appointments and services.
  • Address inappropriate guest behavior by following Marriott International standard operating procedures, which may include stopping a treatment and informing a supervisor.
  • Maintain current skills and licensure in the service area as required by regional regulations.

Professional Conduct and Standards

  • Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions promptly to management.
  • Complete all required safety training and certifications.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance at all times.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary company information.
  • Protect company assets from damage or loss.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to established company standards.
  • Anticipate and proactively address guests’ service needs.
  • Express genuine appreciation to guests.
  • Communicate with colleagues and guests using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all team members.

Physical Requirements of the Role

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Proficiency in fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for grasping, turning, and manipulating objects.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Licensing

  • Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • A valid State or Regional Massage License is required.
