About the Opportunity

شركة مرامر للمقاولات is seeking a qualified Mechanical Site Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 5–9 years of experience in the construction industry, with a mandatory focus on high-rise building projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all mechanical works on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and established schedules.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Mechanical Site Engineer will manage and monitor mechanical installations and related activities throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and monitoring mechanical installation works, including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Drainage systems.
  • Ensuring all mechanical activities are executed according to approved shop drawings, project specifications, and local codes.
  • Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, architects, structural, and MEP teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and method statements prior to execution.
  • Conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with QA/QC procedures.
  • Monitoring project progress and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
  • Coordinating testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Ensuring materials, manpower, and equipment are available to meet project schedules.
  • Enforcing HSE requirements and company safety policies on-site.
  • Attending coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and project management teams.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following core requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5–9 years of experience in MEP construction.
  • Mandatory experience on high-rise building projects.

Technical Expertise

The role requires demonstrated technical proficiency in:

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and general mechanical systems.
  • Experience with testing and commissioning activities.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Revit and Primavera P6 is considered an advantage.

Key Skills and Preferences

Ideal candidates will also possess:

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Saudi Arabia/GCC experience is preferred.
  • A valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred.
