Medical Advisor (Psoriasis/Dermatology)

About the Role

Takeda is seeking a Medical Advisor (Psoriasis/Dermatology) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and involves providing scientific leadership and medical expertise within the assigned therapeutic area, focusing on psoriasis and dermatology.

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as the scientific and medical expert for the assigned therapeutic area, maintaining a deep understanding of disease areas, treatment paradigms, clinical evidence, and emerging scientific developments.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and academic institutions, leading scientific exchange activities.
• Gather, analyze, and communicate actionable medical insights from external stakeholders and scientific interactions to support therapeutic area priorities.
• Support the development and execution of evidence generation activities, including investigator-sponsored studies and real-world evidence initiatives.
• Develop and deliver scientific training and educational programs for internal stakeholders, acting as a medical resource for cross-functional teams.
• Partner with various internal teams such as Therapy Area Leads, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial to provide medical expertise and scientific input.
• Maintain a strong understanding of patient journeys, healthcare systems, and evolving clinical practice, engaging with stakeholders to understand real-world challenges.
• Leverage scientific data, digital tools, and innovative approaches to enhance stakeholder engagement and medical impact.

Mandatory Responsibilities

• Adhere to Takeda’s Information Security and Technology Use policies.
• Report any product-related concerns to the Quality team promptly.
• Uphold integrity and ethical conduct in alignment with Takeda’s values (Takeda-ism).
• Complete all mandatory trainings and ensure team compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Lead by example in the accurate and timely use of company systems (*, Concur, Dakika, Bloom).
• Proactively raise compliance or ethical concerns through appropriate Takeda reporting channels.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
• Ability to critically evaluate scientific literature, clinical data, and real-world evidence.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex medical information accurately and compliantly.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
