About the Role: Medical Representative

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Medical Representative to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, specifically in Al Tareef Al Jadeed. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively representing and promoting Boehringer Ingelheim's core products to Health Care Professionals (HCPs).

Role Purpose and Strategic Impact

This role ensures the appropriate use of Boehringer Ingelheim products and adherence to local regulatory and pharmaceutical code requirements. This is achieved by defining and executing sales account plans based on local activity and expert engagement plans. The Medical Representative is accountable for maximizing the number of patients who receive Boehringer Ingelheim’s products by creating added value for key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute an effective Sales Action Plan with the objective to build and sustain long-term customer partnerships with key accounts that create mutual value.
• Achieve sales and market share objectives, along with the annual target.
• Perform and report on competitive intelligence activities concerning key accounts.
• Orchestrate customer-centric engagement through collaboration with cross-functional and external stakeholders, including pre-launch and launch activities, Audio Visual, and CME meetings.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs).
• Prepare periodical activity trackers and sales-related reports/objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-3 years of similar work experience within a multinational pharmaceutical company.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience within the cardio-metabolic therapy area is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.

Location and Reporting Structure

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Medical Representative will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
