About the Role

Sanofi is seeking a Medical Scientific Liaison – Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes (AT1D) to join its General Medicines team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves building trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals and institutions to facilitate scientific exchange within the Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes landscape.

Role Context

The Medical Scientific Liaison will contribute to Sanofi's mission in chronic and specialty conditions, specifically focusing on diabetes, transplant, and immunology. This position is part of an R&D-driven biopharma company committed to improving patient lives through scientific innovation and a deep understanding of the immune system.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and institutions to provide balanced, high-quality scientific information on AT1D, covering disease staging, screening, diagnosis, and disease-modifying treatment approaches.
• Plan and facilitate local scientific meetings, hospital staff meetings, webinars, and other medical education activities in alignment with the Country Medical Plan and Stakeholder Engagement Plan.
• Develop and execute individual stakeholder engagement plans that align with identified scientific needs and the AT1D Medical Plan.
• Generate high-value, actionable insights regarding unmet medical needs, patient identification, treatment barriers, and evidence gaps, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information and support investigators in Independent Investigator Research (IIR) submissions and local advisory board activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Real-World Evidence (RWE), Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA), Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information, Market Access, and Commercial teams, ensuring full compliance with company, industry, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of customer engagements using CRM tools to support reporting and insight generation.
