About the Role

Omega Talent is seeking an experienced MEP Cost Controller to join the commercial team of a leading real estate developer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and package, focusing on a major mixed-use development project.

Role Overview and Context

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end cost control of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) packages across the project. This includes managing costs from early-stage budgeting through to final account. The MEP Cost Controller will report into the senior commercial team and work closely with design, procurement, and project delivery teams to ensure MEP costs are accurately tracked, forecasted, and controlled throughout each stage of the development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cost control and reporting for all MEP-related packages across the project.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts specific to MEP scopes.
• Review and validate contractor valuations, variations, and claims relating to MEP works.
• Support value engineering initiatives to optimise MEP costs without compromising quality.
• Liaise closely with design consultants, contractors, and the wider commercial team to ensure cost certainty.
• Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks associated with MEP packages throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess over 10 years of experience as a cost control or quantity surveying professional. A strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems is essential for this role.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, offering the opportunity to work client-side directly with a leading real estate developer on a large-scale, high-profile mixed-use development project.
