Role Overview: MEP Manager

Jacobs is seeking an MEP Manager to join the team in Riyadh, All SA Regions. This full-time, delivery-focused leadership role supports existing assets within a landmark motorsports and automotive destination. The MEP Manager will be responsible for managing large mechanical and electrical subcontract packages based on completed designs. The position emphasizes contractor and subcontractor management, program delivery, coordination, and the close-out of complex MEP systems, including HVAC, chilled water, and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of large MEP subcontract packages, including those valued in excess of SAR 500 million.
• Lead and coordinate MEP contractors and subcontractors to meet program, quality, and safety objectives.
• Drive construction program, sequencing, and recovery planning across MEP works.
• Oversee HVAC and chilled water systems from building interfaces through asset integration.
• Coordinate MEP activities across multiple buildings, stakeholders, and asset interfaces.
• Support senior leadership in the mechanical scope and broader MEP delivery.
• Manage the integration and coordination of substations and major utility interfaces.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and progressive close-out of MEP systems.
• Monitor contractor performance, progress reporting, and risk management.
• Support operational readiness, handover, and post-completion activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience for a Project Manager level role, or 15+ years for a Senior Project Manager level role.
• Proven experience in delivering large-scale MEP construction packages on complex developments.
• Strong capability in contractor and subcontractor management.
• Experience with HVAC, chilled water systems, and substations is beneficial.
• High-rise building project experience is preferred.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and delivery-focused leadership skills.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, All SA Regions, and requires full-time onsite attendance at a Jacobs workplace, as dictated by the nature of the position.
