About the Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its projects team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires solid experience in MEP works, with a strong foundation in quantity surveying, cost control, contract administration, and commercial management. The ideal candidate will contribute to various building and MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs from MEP drawings and project specifications.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Prepare cost estimates for MEP works at different project stages.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare interim payment applications and evaluate subcontractor invoices.
• Measure and verify completed MEP works.
• Evaluate Variation Orders (VOs) and their cost impact.
• Support claims preparation and contract administration.
• Monitor MEP project costs against approved budgets.
• Prepare cost reports and commercial updates.
• Coordinate with project managers, MEP engineers, procurement, and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying.
• Proven experience in building and MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, measurements, VO, IPC, and claims.
• Good understanding of MEP systems and construction practices.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and quantity surveying practices.

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
