Job Description
About the Role
AlSalehat Holding is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Jeddah, Mecca Al-Mukarramah. This full-time role involves supporting the delivery of major high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, and large-scale building developments. The Quantity Surveyor will oversee commercial and contractual management, ensuring accurate cost tracking for all company projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead measurement, cost control, and contract administration activities.
- Prepare major variation claims, cost impact assessments, and commercial reports.
- Review and approve Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity breakdowns, and valuations.
- Conduct risk analysis for cost overruns and provide mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior Quantity Surveying staff and coordinate with finance, planning, and engineering teams.
- Participate in client and contractor negotiations and project reviews.
- Prepare quantity schedules and cost estimates for engineering projects.
- Manage tenders and contracts before and after award, including claims and contract change processes.
- Compare planned progress with actual work progress, analyze gaps, and clarify risks.
- Prepare, present, clarify, and archive specialized documents and reports related to engineering works, projects, and their progress rates in the dedicated database, in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- 10-15 years of Quantity Surveying experience, with at least 5 years in senior roles.
- Strong commercial expertise and knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
- Advanced skills in measurements, cost forecasting, and claim preparation.
Experience Level
This position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, with a significant portion in senior capacities.
Work Location
The role is based in Jeddah, Mecca Al-Mukarramah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
