About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Murex Implementation Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves understanding business needs, developing and configuring applications, and delivering systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures, providing guidance to subordinates and monitoring adherence.
• Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures within SLA guidelines and target timeframes.
• Perform daily operational tasks to maintain system and application stability, ensuring smooth daily job execution and proper functioning of backup and disaster recovery sites.
• Communicate with business operations to identify and clarify business needs, analyze these needs, and support the introduction of suitable solutions.
• Monitor local and international trends and best practices in banking operating systems, proposing improvements for increased operational efficiency and speed.
• Ensure the availability of a consistent and streamlined unit structure to achieve error-free processing and high service turnaround.
• Archive all documents according to policies and guidelines for sustainable operational efficiency.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, considering international best practices, business process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Direct and supervise data analysis to establish trends and identify efficiency/quality opportunities for corrective or improvement actions.
• Review and lead the preparation of statistical reports for senior management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
• Complete assignments and ad-hoc requirements from business and Operations Management as directed.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in Murex system implementation and management within a banking or financial services environment. A strong understanding of business needs analysis, system configuration, and operational efficiency is essential.

Operational Focus

This role emphasizes maintaining system stability, ensuring smooth daily operations, and supporting disaster recovery protocols. The manager will also be responsible for monitoring and implementing improvements based on industry trends and best practices to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Continuous Improvement and Reporting

The Murex Implementation Manager will actively contribute to identifying and implementing continuous improvements in systems and processes. This includes directing data analysis to identify trends and opportunities, as well as preparing statistical reports for senior management to support informed decision-making.
