Technical Migration BA Murex

About the Role

Luxoft is seeking a Technical Migration Business Analyst with Murex expertise to join a large bank in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for a greenfield Murex implementation project, focusing on the technical migration of trading, pricing, and risk systems.

Project Context

The successful candidate will work on a significant Murex greenfield implementation project for a major bank. The role involves bridging the gap between technical data migration teams and various business stakeholders, including Front, Middle, and Back Office, to ensure a seamless transition to the Murex * platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical data migration teams and business stakeholders (Front, Middle, and Back Office) for system transitions.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure accurate migration and validation of trade capture, pricing, and market risk functionalities.
• Apply extensive Murex workflow experience, covering trade lifecycle, system interface workflow creation, confirmation generation, error management, and OSP.
• Support data migration activities, including trade migration, static data migration, reconciliation of legacy versus Murex positions, and trade mapping.
• Propose enhancements to existing solutions by leveraging analytical and technical expertise.
• Coordinate cutover planning, go-live activities, and provide post-go-live support.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Overall experience of 7 to 10 years in Murex, with at least 4 years dedicated to migration projects.
• Solid understanding of financial products, including IRD, FXD, bonds, repos, commodities, and equities.
• Strong hands-on functional experience with Murex *, specifically Front Office modules such as Trade Capture, Pricing, Market Data, and Pre-Deal/Post-Deal workflows.
• Experience in at least one full-cycle Murex implementation or migration project.
• Demonstrated experience with data migration and reconciliation methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Murex , MXML, Datamart reporting, and GOM (Global Organization Model).
