About the New Accounts Manager Role
Afaq Q Tech General Trading is seeking a New Accounts Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on acquiring new business within the consumer electronics category on third-party marketplaces. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in business development and sales.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The New Accounts Manager will be responsible for contributing to new business acquisition by generating leads, evaluating potential sellers via phone and email, and supporting their launch and growth on marketplace platforms. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with selling partners, providing data-driven insights, and educating them on marketplace standards for delivery and customer experience. A key aspect of the role is enabling sellers to become proficient in using marketplace tools and systems for efficient catalog management, inventory control, and performance monitoring.
- Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential sellers through direct outreach.
- Prioritize and manage a pipeline of sellers to meet performance targets.
- Act as a business partner to new sellers, offering advice for success.
- Educate sellers on marketplace standards for delivery and customer experience.
- Facilitate seller adoption of marketplace tools and systems.
- Understand category specifics to tailor pitches and advice, identifying popular brands, trends, and seasonal items.
- Track and report business development results, analyzing data for seller portfolios.

Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of professional or military experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required. Experience in prospecting, qualifying leads, and cold-calling companies is essential. The role also requires demonstrated experience with pipeline management, including the use of CRM tools such as Salesforce.
