The Role: New Agreements Team Lead

The New Agreements Team Lead will be responsible for supervising initial service use, managing power purchase agreements, and implementing market analysis to develop cost-effective purchasing strategies. This position involves significant collaboration with legal and governance teams and requires strong negotiation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise initial service use, addressing technical and operational concerns, and developing tailored communication strategies to foster engagement, loyalty, and satisfaction for power suppliers and customers.
• Oversee Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) handovers, including drafting and negotiating new agreements such as BSA and TUoS. Ensure compliance in collaboration with Legal and Governance teams to manage major supply agreements and renewal processes.
• Implement comprehensive market analysis to assess supply-demand trends, pricing, and regulations. Execute cost-effective purchasing strategies through solicitation, negotiation, and customer targeting.
• Perform any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line manager in accordance with organizational requirements.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, demonstrating a proven track record in agreement management and strategic purchasing within the power sector or a related industry.

The position requires strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage complex agreements and foster productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including legal and governance teams, suppliers, and customers.
