Night Shift Leader

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Night Shift Leader to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves overseeing guest check-in processes, managing accounts, and ensuring smooth night operations. The role requires meticulous attention to detail in handling payments, billing, and daily reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process guest check-ins, including identity verification, payment processing, room assignment, and key issuance.
• Set up accurate guest accounts and enter Marriott Rewards information.
• Ensure rates align with market codes and document any exceptions.
• Secure payments, verify and adjust billing, and compile daily reports.
• Complete cashier and closing reports, balance receipts, and manage the bank at the start and end of shifts.
• Provide guests with directions and property information, and accommodate requests by coordinating with appropriate staff.
• Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges, and obtain manual authorizations as needed.
• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any theft reports and follow all Accounting procedures.
• Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensure confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones using proper etiquette.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and utilize computer/POS systems for information entry and retrieval.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and operates on a full-time schedule, primarily during night shifts. The position requires active engagement with guests and team members, ensuring operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
