The Role

Foodics is seeking an Operations Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing various operational aspects related to merchant onboarding, terminal management, and financial reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, including bank stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Understand bank operations and identify potential obstacles.
  • Ensure adherence to SAMA regulations, SLAs, and MADA branding rules related to POS business.
  • Manage settlement and reconciliation processes, ensuring all activities comply with regulatory rules.
  • Become a subject matter expert for assigned accounts, understanding contractual responsibilities and maintaining organized engagement history and reports.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Oversee merchant onboarding, terminal management, and merchant profiling processes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for POS vendors, ensuring timely installation and maintenance requests within SLA.
  • Provide continuous and exceptional service to VIP customers.
  • Prepare and publish daily POS-related updates and reports for banks and internal teams.
  • Process amendments to existing merchant credentials and maintain historical merchant information.
  • Prepare and submit SAMA SLA reports with POS vendors.
  • Process chargeback, claim, and dispute requests, coordinating with banks to ensure case closure.
  • Maintain and control stock inventory.
  • Update the billing system for financial billing and validate invoices before submission to banks.
  • Highlight discrepancies to the finance department and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Respond promptly to emails and establish proper follow-up with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control vendor performance and management reporting, including daily maintenance/installation reports.
  • Prepare mandate reports (POS SLA/MADA branding/Active-Inactive/Segmentation/Stock reports).
  • Create proper backups to manage reporting in case of absence or vacation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of SAMA regulations, SLAs, and MADA branding rules related to POS business.
  • Understanding of settlement and reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain engagement history and reports.
