About the Operations Supervisor Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking a full-time Operations Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh. This role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on leading and motivating a team to achieve productivity targets and operational goals aligned with company objectives. The Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily management of department duties and workflow.
  • Assign work to associates as needed to support workflow and daily production KPIs/goals.
  • Conduct standup briefs, deliver associate feedback, and perform floor audits and vehicle inspections.
  • Assist in the training and up-skilling of new associates.
  • Support tracking, trending, and reporting of departmental metrics.
  • Help analyze and understand reasons behind successes and failures in meeting departmental delivery and FC KPIs/goals.
  • Track, report, and maintain hours and schedules.
  • Review and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents as required.
  • Improve the flow of product through the station.
  • Identify and address safety hazards within the station and participate in safety initiatives.
  • Maintain a full understanding of workflow, daily production goals, and associate presence each day.

Essential Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Willingness to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.

Physical Demands

This role requires the capability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently engage in pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
