Operator Room Service

About the Role

W Hotels is seeking an Operator Room Service to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing room service orders and guest inquiries, ensuring efficient and professional service delivery. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 year of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive room service orders via telephone and address guest questions regarding menu selections, consulting kitchen staff as needed.
• Respond to guest inquiries about the origin, vintage, and style of various wines.
• Schedule and log call-backs for room service orders, informing guests and management of any service delays.
• Relay specific meal requirements, allergy information, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the shift.
• Process transactions using the MICROS system at the time of order and complete all required closing reports, including MICROS reports.
• Handle all accepted payment methods accurately.

Operational Standards and Conduct

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; and complete necessary safety training and certifications.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation to guests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving common goals.
• Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
