As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in providing professional optical consultations to our clients. You will help them understand their visual needs and recommend suitable eyewear solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and provide tailored consultations to understand their visual needs.
  • Interpret and explain prescriptions in simple terms, helping customers choose the right products for their daily activities and lifestyles.
  • Discuss differences in lens types and frames in terms of quality, use, and cost.
  • Perform necessary measurements to adjust frames for a comfortable and precise fit.
  • Cut and prepare lenses, ensuring they match the prescription accurately.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on eyewear, including adjustments and replacing damaged parts.
  • Document orders and issue invoices through the POS system.
  • Manage daily inventory of lenses and frames, coordinating purchase requests with management when necessary.
  • Educate customers on lens and eyewear care to ensure safety and longevity of the products.
  • Achieve sales targets set in line with monthly sales goals.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members as needed to improve overall performance.
  • Assist in preparing and following up on customers’ insurance claims, working cooperatively with the relevant department.

Job Requirements:
  • Education: Diploma in Optics.
  • Licensure: Valid license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
  • Experience: Recent graduates or candidates with previous experience in optics (Optician).
  • Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of lens types and frames, cutting, and fitting techniques.
  • Proficiency in using vision measurement and eyewear preparation devices.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.

Personal Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to simplify technical information for clients.
  • Professional customer service capabilities with a focus on building trust-based relationships.
