The Optometrist Role

Roya Hakim is seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join its growing ophthalmology team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and managing various visual conditions, and collaborating closely with ophthalmologists to support surgical referrals and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed eye examinations and visual acuity tests using modern diagnostic tools, including OCT and fundus photography.
Detect and manage refractive errors, amblyopia, glaucoma suspects, diabetic retinopathy, and macular diseases.
Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, or low-vision aids as appropriate for patient needs.
Assist in the pre-operative and post-operative care of ophthalmology patients.
Document findings clearly and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with company standards.
Collaborate with medical and operational teams to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient clinic workflow.

Qualifications and Experience
