About the Role
AIQU is seeking an experienced Organizational Excellence Specialist to join one of its major clients in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, 6-month extendable contract position.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be a senior professional with deep, hands-on expertise in national and international excellence frameworks, specifically the King Abdulaziz Quality Award (KAQA) and EFQM. This role requires practical experience across the entire excellence lifecycle, from conducting organizational self-assessments to developing excellence roadmaps and supporting award participation and submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Structuring, leading, and conducting organizational self-assessments against KAQA and EFQM criteria.
- Identifying organizational strengths and areas for improvement based on assessment findings.
- Developing comprehensive excellence roadmaps, including prioritized initiatives aligned with framework criteria.
- Developing and reviewing excellence documentation, including KAQA and EFQM submission files, ensuring evidence narratives and criterion-level justifications are robust.
- Contributing to the establishment and operation of Quality and Excellence functions, including the design of excellence and quality strategies and operating models.
- Synthesizing and presenting excellence deliverables and content in both Arabic and English, utilizing PowerPoint and Word.
- Engaging with executive and senior leadership, facilitating workshops, and clearly articulating findings and recommendations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 8-12 years of professional experience in Organizational / Institutional Excellence, with a strong focus on EFQM and KAQA.
- Proven, hands-on experience with KAQA and EFQM frameworks.
- Experience in establishing or running Quality and Excellence functions.
- Formal EFQM or KAQA training, certification, or assessor exposure is required.
- A background in management consulting or advisory services, preferably within public sector or large enterprise environments in KSA, is preferred.
Essential Skills
- Advanced writing, reviewing, and synthesizing skills for excellence deliverables in both Arabic and English.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated experience engaging senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in facilitating workshops and clearly conveying findings and recommendations.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time, 6-month extendable contract role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
