Penetration Tester

About the Role

AIQU is seeking a Penetration Tester to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is offered on a yearly extendable contract basis and requires onsite presence in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and assessing security vulnerabilities to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities within systems and applications.
• Assess security weaknesses through controlled exploitation techniques.
• Prepare detailed penetration testing reports, including risk ratings, technical evidence, business impact, and comprehensive remediation recommendations.
• Conduct retesting activities post-remediation to validate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Support vulnerability assessment and other security testing activities.
• Provide recommendations to strengthen existing security controls and reduce exposure to cyber threats.
• Link identified vulnerabilities and penetration testing findings with the organization’s Cybersecurity Risk Register.
• Assess the risk impact of identified vulnerabilities and support the classification of findings based on likelihood, impact, and overall risk level.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to follow up on risk treatment plans, remediation actions, and closure status of identified issues.
• Support risk owners in understanding technical findings, associated risks, and required mitigation actions.
• Track open findings and ensure proper documentation of remediation, risk acceptance, or compensating controls.
• Provide technical input to support cybersecurity risk management activities and contribute to improving the organization’s overall security posture.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in penetration testing or a related cybersecurity field.
• Proven ability to identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities effectively.
• Experience in preparing detailed reports with clear remediation recommendations.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, operating under a contract that is extendable on a yearly basis.
