Broadway Global Services is seeking an experienced Performance Engineer IT Operations to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to supporting IT Operations and Command Center activities, with a primary focus on enhancing the quality and efficiency of incident and problem management.

Role Overview

The Performance Engineer will provide deep performance analysis, technical insights, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using Dynatrace and advanced observability capabilities. This position involves close collaboration with Operations and other technical teams to proactively troubleshoot performance-related incidents, identify system bottlenecks, and deliver actionable technical insights that accelerate incident resolution and enhance overall system stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert Performance Engineering support for production and performance-related incidents.
• Leverage Dynatrace to investigate, troubleshoot, and thoroughly analyze application and infrastructure performance issues.
• Deliver clear technical insights and context to support rapid incident investigation and resolution.
• Actively support the Operations team during critical incident triage calls.
• Analyze application and system performance to detect bottlenecks and areas of degradation.
• Perform or actively support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex, performance-related incidents.
• Correlate observability data and performance metrics to pinpoint the probable causes of system disruptions.
• Present detailed technical findings and recommendations to the relevant engineering and support teams.
• Drive the continuous improvement of existing incident and problem management processes.
• Work in tight collaboration with Application, Middleware, Database, Network, and Infrastructure teams as necessary.
• Actively contribute to enhancing application performance, stability, and operational resilience.
• Ensure direct coordination with internal technical and business teams to provide immediate support for performance-related incidents.

Key Deliverables

• Prompt and accurate performance incident analysis alongside clear technical insights.
• Highly effective Dynatrace-based troubleshooting.
• Elevated quality, accuracy, and depth of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation.
• Swift identification and reporting of performance bottlenecks and probable root causes.
• Reliable technical support during high-stakes critical incident triage.
• Strategic and actionable recommendations aimed at optimizing overall system performance and stability.

Candidate Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience as a Performance Engineer, ideally at a senior or lead level.
• Exceptional, hands-on Dynatrace expertise.
• Ability to independently and confidently investigate complex production performance issues.
• Demonstrated composure and effectiveness while supporting high-priority incident triage and driving thorough RCA activities.

Work Environment

This role operates within a mission-critical banking environment, requiring a focused and composed approach to maintaining system stability and performance. The position is full-time, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
