About the Opportunity

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Pharmacist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to providing general healthcare advice, dispensing prescription and non-prescription medication, and managing non-pharma products for customers. The Pharmacist also plays a key role in supervising the retail store team and overseeing operations to ensure continuous achievement of sales targets, high customer satisfaction levels, and overall operational readiness.

Core Responsibilities: Patient Care and Dispensing

  • Process prescriptions and dispense medication by reviewing physician orders and providing comprehensive consultation on dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions to inform and educate customers.
  • Educate customers on the proper handling of medical equipment designed for home use, providing necessary information and additional reference sources such as user manuals.
  • Dispense and provide advice on over-the-counter/non-prescription medication for common illnesses, assessing symptoms, recommending appropriate actions (*, physician consultation), and offering specific guidance on usage.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities through customer consultation, understanding needs, and proposing suitable products to enhance satisfaction and meet sales targets.
  • Process payments and reconciliations by managing the cash register and coordinating with the Finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance with commercial legal requirements and internal financial processes.

Store Operations and Team Leadership

  • Ensure store readiness by monitoring compliance with internal guidelines, including staff readiness (uniforms, name tags) and store conditions (temperature, storage), to maintain effective daily operations and a professional appearance.
  • Perform duties in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures applicable at a store level, taking appropriate actions such as loyalty program registration.
  • Supervise and provide development opportunities for retail store staff through performance management activities, corrective actions, regular development conversations, and access to formal and informal development options.
  • Monitor key sales performance targets and customer satisfaction levels at a store level through direct observation and regular reporting.
  • Perform and monitor operational and staff-related administrative tasks, including workflow, team schedule and attendance, order entry verification, stock level logistics, inventory management, expense management, price updates, and promotion execution.

Compliance and Professional Growth

  • Ensure store-level compliance with Health & Safety policies, procedures, and operational standards through regular monitoring and updates to meet local industry legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Maintain pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies to stay current with industry information.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Pharmacist position should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant pharmaceutical setting. The role requires strong communication skills for effective customer consultation and the ability to supervise a retail team. A commitment to continuous professional development in pharmacology is essential.

Work Environment and Schedule

This position is based 100% indoors. The work schedule is 6 working days per week, with 1 day off. Daily working hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which includes a 1-hour break.
