About the Planning Engineer Role
Hill International, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Planning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing and implementing comprehensive performance monitoring and reporting frameworks for projects. The successful candidate will oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) across various departments, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. This position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive performance monitoring and reporting framework for projects.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) across all departments.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of performance data.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Advise on KPIs and performance metrics.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on performance against targets and goals.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop action plans for addressing performance issues and improving overall performance.
- Coordinate with the IT department to ensure optimal functioning of performance monitoring and reporting systems.
- Stay informed on industry best practices in performance monitoring and reporting.
- Train and mentor staff in performance monitoring and reporting techniques and best practices.
- Lead and manage a team of performance monitoring and reporting professionals.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience in professional project management processes and procedures.
- Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up/set-up work processes.
Skills and Competencies
- Demonstrated skill in management, supervisory, and personnel administrative functions.
- Involvement in continuous improvement and capacity building/talent development initiatives.
Role Context and Collaboration
The Planning Engineer will operate in a dynamic project environment, requiring close collaboration with various department heads and the IT department to ensure integrated performance management. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on maintaining high standards of data integrity and reporting across all project phases.
