Job Description

About the Role

Mace is seeking a Planning Manager to join a high-energy, expanding PMO team in Riyadh. This role is integral to delivering a major mixed-use development program comprising over 200 projects, including cultural assets, F&B, retail, hotels, commercial buildings, and educational facilities. Mace provides programme management for this Giga project, which offers a versatile scope of delivery, encompassing unique residential buildings, hotels, infrastructure, car parks, and extensive reforestation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans that align with project constraints.
  • Interface with the project team and contribute to progress reporting.
  • Review and capture productivity data to track project performance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Establish and oversee project work plans and deadlines.
  • Coordinate team activities to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Undertake tasks to ensure the delivery of assignment obligations.
  • Champion net zero carbon transition through proactive emissions management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in delivering residential or infrastructure schemes, or both.
  • Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Proven experience in managing complex schedules and interpreting data for various stakeholders.
  • Supporting qualifications in construction-related courses or equivalent work experience.

Additional Professional Attributes

  • Membership in professional bodies such as APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA, or equivalent demonstrable professional development.
  • Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programmes, particularly within the residential sector.
  • Deep expertise in property or infrastructure project management.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience with large, diverse teams.
  • Experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Strong collaborative skills.
  • A strong desire to pursue excellence.
  • Ability to work with people with care as a central focus.
