About the Project and KBR

This project involves a significant infrastructure program for a mixed-use development located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The development aims to establish a global landmark and a distinct, self-sustaining community featuring several iconic assets. KBR, Inc. will provide comprehensive PMO services, including enterprise-level governance, assurance, integration, and performance oversight across all projects and programs within this development.

Role Summary

The PMO Digital Lead reports to the Project Controls Director. This full-time role is responsible for driving digital transformation within the PMO, focusing on governance and data-driven delivery. The position involves overseeing Project Management Consultants (PMCs) and integrating digital tools, analytics, and PMO best practices to support the control and reporting of performance metrics for quality, schedule, cost, and safety, alongside robust risk management. The PMO Digital Lead ensures the integration of digital systems and tools to establish a single source of truth for project data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a digital PMO framework aligned with the defined digital strategy.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across project controls, commercial, reporting, and governance functions.
  • Initiate the development, enhancement, and maintenance of digital platforms, including dashboards, BIM integration, and data analytical tools.
  • Establish efficiencies through data-driven analysis to enable predictive decisions linked to key success factors for delivery in quality, schedule, cost, and safety.
  • Implement and manage comprehensive digital integration frameworks for the Development to ensure continuous data flow, effective decision-making, and improved performance.
  • Develop digital tools for expedited data acquisition and digitalized reporting of design and construction progress, including quality assurance of received data.
  • Enable unified project controls through an integrated platform encompassing planning and scheduling, cost management and forecasting, risk management, change control, and document control.
  • Implement advanced analytics for trend analysis, forecasting, risk prediction and mitigation planning, and utilization of AI models for performance optimization.
  • Lead the implementation of Common Data Environments (CDE), AI-enabled project insights, and deploy innovative digital solutions to enhance project efficiency and delivery outcomes.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Mentor PMO and project controls teams in digital tools and methodologies.
  • Build digital capability within PMO functions across various projects.
  • Conduct training programs on digital tools, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the teams.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess over 10 years of relevant experience in digital transformation, PMO services, or project controls within major infrastructure programs.
